Smap3D PIPEFAB is available in the two standard variants BASIC and PROF. These differ in the number of clients and the interface for data transfer. What they both have in common is the installation of Smap3D PIPEFAB on your existing Microsoft SQL server database, the function for creating production batches and a so-called pilot for connecting a bending, collaring or welding system from Pipe Bending Systems (PBS), T-Drill or Polysoude. Of course, Smap3D PIPEFAB can be scaled if necessary and optionally supplemented with additional functions.
Design data can be imported from CAD systems via the STEP, IGES or PCF interfaces. If you are using Smap3D Plant Design in connection with Solid Edge, SOLIDWORKS or Inventor, you can transfer the pipe data directly to Smap3D PIPEFAB via the Smap3D interface. If no data from other systems is available, pipes can also be drawn directly in Smap3D PIPEFAB.
